Will the Legendary Collector 2 Pledge level really be delivered in March 2018?

No. This was an error. It will follow the same release schedule as the rest of the pledge levels. Unfortunately Kickstarter does not allow us to alter the delivered by date.

Can I pledge $1 now and get access to Kickstarter pricing in the Pledge Manager?

No. To get access to the Pledge Manager you must pledge for at least one Battle Box.

Why does Season Two cost more than Season One?

The original cost of Season One was $39 USD for 4 heroes ($9.75 each). The original cost of Season Two is $59 for 6 heroes ($9.83 each). Both campaigns had stretch goals / funding quests to further increase this value proposition with additional heroes. Additionally, the cost to product a hero in Season Two is substantially higher than the cost of Season One. The hero boards are larger and die cut, the Champ Edition now includes additional improvements (such as spot varnish, etc), but most importantly, the amount of hours required to produce the art is SUBSTANTIALLY higher. This makes for a much more immersive experience with a nearly negligible price increase per hero.

Why are the cost of sleeves so high?

Printed sleeves are actually very expensive. As a reference point, a set of 80 UltraPro printed sleeves runs $9 USD (https://www.amazon.com/Magic-Gathering-Eldritch-Emrakul-Protectors/dp/B01DN2AVPK/). We are charging $8 for 100.

But if you want to save even more, consider the Epic Collectors pledge bundle which includes enough sleeves for all Season One + Season Two heroes, the Battle Chest, 2 playmats, and FREE SHIPPING.

Will there be any local pickup options at Gen Con, Essen, PAX, Spokane, Calgary...?

It's safest to assume for now that the answer is no. We will arrange and announce these later if if any of them become practical.

Can I add a Champion Edition of Season 1 during the pledge manager?

No, they are all taken. However, you can add a Retail Edition, which contains the same heroes.

When will Season 1 get upgraded?

In the future, if there is demand, we will investigate doing a Season 1 Remaster. There are no Current plans to do this. Share your interest in our community page and in the KS comments.

How do i add on extra copies of complete Season 2 to my pledge?

Increase your pledge level by CA$ 75 to add another champion level to your pledge or CA$ 145 for 2, these will be added in the pledge manager. These will also be available in the Pledge Manager.

What are "Funding Quests"?

Funding Quests (FQ) are objectives that help enhance the game. Three FQ’s will be revealed on the first day of the campaign. After that, a new quest will be revealed every day at ~9am PST for the entirety of the campaign, regardless of whether or not the previous one has been unlocked. This means we can even be working on multiple FQ’s simultaneously! Like stretch goals, each FQ requires a specific amount of funding to unlock. But unlike stretch goals, we’ll begin a new Funding Quest together every day of the campaign! We put great consideration into every FQ idea we read. If we hear an idea that is amazing and possible, we're absolutely willing to alter our secret plan. As always, our goal is to create a well honed experience, while giving you a ton of value for backing our project.

What are the playmats? Will we get individual ones for each hero?

They are sweet playmats with unique art that will be printed representing the heroes in that season.

What are the Promo Packs? and How do they work?

All unlocked Season Two promo cards will build up to create a full Season Two promo pack of brand new original cards. These promo packs will be made available for purchase on the Roxley website after the kickstarter concludes (or they might also be given away at our discretion, such as at a convention). However, all backers will receive this promo pack in it's final form for FREE!

What was the difference between the Retail and Champion editions of Season One?

Season One Champion Edition was clearly labeled as such, and included an upgrade of the dice to a premium, swirled pattern.

Retail versions of the game are not missing any characters, cards, or content.

The Battle Chest is not designed for Season One heroes.

Season 2 Trays have been completely redesigned, so no, they do not.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Why can’t I log into my account?

Request a login link to your survey by entering your email here:

BackerKit will send you an automated email with an invite link to whatever email you pledged with.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

Can I upgrade or get multiple copies of my pledge?

This depends on the project creator’s decision. If you are unable to see the ‘Want to switch your pledge level?’ after clicking on your pledge amount under “Pledge Level” in your survey, then the project creator would prefer people not to switch pledge levels.
